Monster Island Skateboard Contest at Board Up

The swim suit models decided to come watch some BMX up close, while Mike Spinner, and a few other pro riders gave a demo to the mostly skate and wake board crowd at Board Up Miami.

The First Place Winner of the intermediate skateboard round walks away 

with two new boards and some goodies. 

  

A few locals we've seen before were tearing the street course up.

Mike Schmidt does a huge transfer from the half pipe to the street course during his 2nd run in the contest.  He is such a creative rider - always seeming to find a new and different ways to use the course.
